We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. This is such a fun time of year. Tonight is Christmas Eve and even at the age of 2 Ashton is pretty anxious. He got out of bed a few minutes ago 9:30pm , (he never gets out of bed) and he said, "see the toys". He knows that Santa is coming tonight. It should be a fun day tomorrow.

Temple Square
We went to Temple Square in SLC the first weekend in December. This is one of my favorite things to do at Christmas time. The boys were bundled up and I think they liked all the lights. Ashton kept telling us the colors of the lights. It was pretty cute.
We got some nice ladies to take a picture of all of us. It is pretty hard to get a picture all together so this was nice.
We left soon after this picture. (The boys were pretty much done, if you can't tell.) I love the temple in the background of this picture.

Christmas Tree
We went up into the Uintah Mountains to find our tree this year. We went the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was a really nice afternoon. We searched forever because Daddy is really picky. (He still isn't satisfied with the one we picked.)
Here we are by our Christmas Tree. This was a fun day and hopefully we can make it a tradition.

Playin'
This is a bedtime ritual, at least is was until Daddy had his surgery. Now both of his kids are to heavy until December 17. Ashton loves it when Daddy is a horsey. And Dallen just laughs at them.
This is Dallen when he is teething. He loves to chew on his fingers more than anything.
This was when we were eating dinner. He was laughing so hard at Ashton. All Ashton was doing was looking at him. Ashton would look away and do whatever else and Dallen would just stare at him until Ashton would pay attention to him again and then when he did he would laugh and giggle. It was the cutest thing ever. Dallen thinks that Ashton is the greatest.

First Food
We gave Dallen his first food about a month and a half ago. He loved it. He always watches us eat and you can tell he wants to so bad. He ate really well.

Bye Bye Uncle Ronnie
This picture was taken at Uncle Ronnie's mission farewell luncheon. He has been gone for over a month now. Ashton loves to write letters to him. Whenever I get out a peice of paper and pen he says "writen uncle ronnie".

Happy Halloween!
We had a fun Halloween. It is a little bit different here in the sticks so we just drove to a few houses of family and friends. We could have gone to a trunk or treat but we just weren't up for it. Besides Ashton is really scared of Halloween things and scary costumes. Whenever there were scary Halloween decorations Ashton got really nervous. This is Ashton dressed as Handy Manny. I know, I know Handy Manny has a green shirt and a red hat, but I looked for a Handy Manny costume and I couldn't find one anywhere. So we just went with the tool belt. He loved it. He walked around singing the Handy Manny song and saying "come on tools". It was so cute.
Aren't they just the cutest boys you have ever seen. Ashton is such a good big brother. This is awesome to get a picture with both boys smiling.

Lagoon
This is the first ride he went on by himself. He didn't want to get off when it was time. He probably would have drove that car all day.
He thought the boat was really cool. He never really figured out how to ring the bell.
Grandpa Jimmy kept trying to get Ashton wet but he wasn't having it. All he would do was stick his hand in the water. What a good boy. We had a long drive home after that.
Poor Dallen didn't get to ride any of the rides. This is as much fun as he had. He was a good boy all day.

The Haircut
This is Before. His hair was getting so out of controll that I finally had to cut it. This was in the middle of September. (I know, as you can tell I am very behind with my updates.)

Brotherly Love
This is a baby toy of Dallen's where you lay underneath some fish and there is a ball hanging over the feet where you can kick it. Ashton thinks that this is a fun toy for him sometimes. This time Dallen was already playing and Ashton wanted a turn so he climbed under with Dallen. I had to scoot Dallen over a little so Ashton could fit but Dallen didn't care. He just watched Asthon.
Ashton always says "hold you Dallen". He loves his little brother. We attempted this picture a few times and obviously this was the best one, but there are some where Dallen was screaming. The problem is that when Ashton is done holding Dallen he just pushes him away. (We're working on that.)

Happy Birthday
I think that this was Ashton's favorite Birthday present. That is saying a lot since he got a bike and a video game console. He loved his balloon and he carried it around until it went flat. He even made me tie it to his bike a couple of times so it could go with him.
Ashton loves it when we sing Happy Birthday. He just giggles and claps. I guess he knows that lots of cake follows the song. On his Daddy's B-day a few days later he thought it was all for him again.
Happy Birthday Daddy. Doesn't he look so excited to be turning 29.

24th of July
This is our boys at the beginning of the auction that lasted forever. By the end Dallen was sleeping wrapped up in a blanket and Ashton was going to pass out but we were waiting for the fireworks, which didn't happen until around 11:30 at night. We lasted outside until maybe 10:30 then got in the car where Ashton did go to sleep. We woke him up for the fireworks.

Cousins
We were using the T.V. as a babysitter during our visit to Panguitch on the weekend of July 22nd. Ashton and Olivia got to be good friends during this trip.
Besides the T.V. Ronny was also a great babysitter. He was really watching all of these kids by himself. This is all of the cousins besides Cooper. He must have been having a nap at this time.
This is Ashton and Olivia saying goodbye after their fun weekend of playing with eachother.

This is what Dallen got to do during our little trip. He had so much fun.
Doesn't he look like he look so intense. That is a Whooly Mammoth behind him.

Dallen's Blessing Day
These are all of the family members that were able to make it. We had lots of friends there also. We love them all so much. (Even all of you that couldn't make it. I totally understand.)
I love to get pictures of all my boys together. They are so handsome
Ashton got to play with a new old friend. This is Alli and they have been friends this is just the first time they actually played together. They took turns pushing eachother on the airplane.

Chillin'
Ashton turned on his favorite show "Handy Manny" and climbed into mommy's bed all on his own and this is how I found him. He has known how to run the T.V. and the DVD Player for a long time now. He is a lot like his Daddy.

Chick Magnets
How can you resist a face like that.
I couldn't resist a picture of them both in their "Chick Magnet" shirts. I didn't plan for them to be wearing the same shirt, we just lucked out I guess. I also wanted a pic showing how much bigger Ashton is than Dallen
Ashton loves to put shoes on all by himself, even if they aren't his. I don't know if he will appreciate how cute he is in his mommy's heels when he is older.
