Dallen and I were at the bottom of the slide. Ashton and Dallen both got a kick out of this. They love the echo and just that they can play peek-a-boo with eachother.
Ashton is braver and braver. He goes down all the slides by himself and even tries to climb up the ladders. (I'm a mean mommy and I don't let him climb by himself.) Ashton loved running into Daddy. Aunt AD is always willing to chase Asthon around the park.

Who do you think can swing the highest?
I'ts not Dallen.
Ashton gets a little scared if he goes to high.
But he still gets up there pretty high.
Daddy wins by a long shot. This was Saturday April 12th. This was the first day we were able to go outside without freezing for the first time in a long time. We actually still have a little snow in front of our house right now. It is so crazy. Every couple of days we do have a warm one, so that is enough for now to keep us from getting cabin fever. Where's summer?

I can Have 3 Kids...
in this car that is. Before we bought this car I told Jeff that it had to be able to fit three carseats, especially since kiddies have to stay in boosters until they are 8 now. He assured me that we could, but I still didn't believe him. I guess he was right. I should really give him more credit. Shhh.. don't tell him I said that.

Very Helpful
This happened when Kinsey and Mandy were at our house a couple of weeks ago. All the kids were in the kitchen while I was making dinner. They were all a little fussy so I gave my kids crackers, but Kins is still too little. Dallen was really worried about her and so he dropped a cracker down to her (onto the floor, she didn't actually get it.) That is what I was trying to get a picture of, but Dallen kept throwing his arms up and making this funny face. I finally realized....
he was posing for the camera.
Of course Ashton can't be left out of pictures. He loves everything about pictures. He loves to see them, take them and be in them.

Another Funny Story
Well I think it is anyway. So yesterday I decided that I was going to start getting up at 6:00 am so that I can workout and read and get certain things done before the boys wake up. So I got up did what I had to do and then Dallen woke up around 7:00. (I need to back up Ashton had a rough night last night and long story short he ended up in bed with us.) Dallen was still really tired so I put him back to bed at 8:00. Ashton was still asleep so I decided to read for a while, but then it hit me like a brick, I was tired. I tried to fight it but I gave in and layed down. Next thing I remember Ashton is patting me on the shoulder. I was still a little groggy so he said, "It's okay mommy go to sleep." and he kissed me on the forehead. So... that woke me up. Then he told me that he pee peed on his pants. So I asked him if he had done that in my bed. And he said no I pee peed in the toilet. Then he starts to tell me that he tried to find me in the kitchen, but I wasn't there. So he woke up and didn't see me on the couch and went to the bathroom all by himself. This being his first time going all by himself, it didn't go very well. When I went into the bathroom I could tell that he had peed on his stool and he tried to clean it up with toilet paper. He was a little concerned about it, but I just told how proud I was of him. And I felt bad that I didn't hear him wake up.

Happy Birthday Mommy
Today when Ashton woke up he came into the living room where I was and ran into my arms with the biggest grinner on his face. I said, " Do you remember what today is?" He looked at me and said," Its....Mommy's Birthday!" It made my day. It doesn't matter what else we do for my birthday, that was enough. (I did tell him yesterday that it would be my birthday.)
